It is important to us that the Officials Team caters to the needs of the participants, and ensure that all participants feel safe and respected. We deem it crucial that we minimize the gap between Officials and delegates, to encourage further participation in the organization. We believe this is the key to an overall amazing session atmosphere!
We want to make sure that the basic needs of all participants are fully catered to, including enough sleep, food and free-time. For this reason, we decided to extend the session by one day, and split the General Assembly into two days to ensure that lack of sleep is not an issue. This also allows for more free-time for the participants, and allows for a new cultural program in Tampere.
Finally as our theme revolves around environmental responsibility, our session must have a low carbon footprint. All session participants are encouraged to carefully consider the ecological consequences of all their actions, from waste to energy, to food. And all members of the Officials team will be trained to be more environmentally conscious.
In order to achieve this, we need you to dive head first into Tampere 2020. Bring your cup, bring your own sustainable knowledge and educate your peers. Make sure you enjoy this experience, and make sure you stay respectful and encouraging to one another.
