When it comes to imagining how the ideal future would be, it is impossible not to think of a positive version of it. Bright sunny days, gentle breeze touching your cheeks, having a calm stroll through nature, in our favourite city full of history or modern architecture. Talking with some friends in an immense wheat field, getting lost in thoughts, taking some memories off the dusty shelves of the mind and observe them before putting them back. Laying on the ground, looking at the sky, cloud gazing. Making plans, dreaming, wishing for the best of times to come.
With this project, I wanted to make the participants of the session think about their future and actually portraying their eyes directed forward. My intention was of capturing the bright times they were looking towards in their eyes, or simply them being reflected on themselves, to show that the future times already are part of our lives. We should always have the braveness of keeping our eyes up: hope and light wonder right in front of us.
