Tarja Halonen
Tarja Halonen served as the President of Finland, and with that was the first woman to hold the position, from 2000 to 2012.
Heidi Hautala
Heidi Hautala is a Vice-President of the European Parliament. In addition to her career in the European Parliament, she has for example been the minister for international development in Finland. She is the only Finn to have chaired a European parliament political group or committee.
Iiris Suomela
Iiris Suomela is the youngest MP in Finland from the Green party. As well as being a MP, she is the vice-chairperson of the Tampere City Council.
